Ian Sayer & Co at Play

Little Britain Challenge Cup

We have entered a team each year since 2000. In 2007 we took the bold step of entering on Chernikeeff 2 a Farr 52 class 0 boat. Our first race didn't quite go to plan, but we managed to finish fourth overall in the surveyors class.

The Chartered Surveyor's Golfing Society

Golf In The Snow

The Chartered Surveyor's Golfing Society is open to all members of the RICS. John Hallett is the Honorary Secretary of the South East Section, which holds three meetings a year at golf courses in Kent, Sussex and Surrey. In May the South East Section also takes a three day tour to the Hardelot area of France, which includes a match against the Architect's Golfing Society, and in the autumn a match is held against two other sections of the Society at Frilford Heath.

In addition, there is a full programme of national meetings and matches available to members of the Society.

For more information about the Chartered Surveyor's Golfing Society please contact John at or telephone 020 7267 9688.

Charity Walks/Events

Alistair has spent the last six years fleecing friend and foe alike for money to support his so called hobby of ultimate challenges in aid of Cancer Research. The challenges have included, a week long trek in Patagonia, a stroll on the South Atlantic glacier with the odd 100mph wind - I can say I have seen an 18 stone man fly! We undertook a crossing of the Namib Desert, where the average midday temperature in the shade was 40°C. In Peru we trekked to Macchu Pichu - walking at an altitude of 17,200 feet above above sea level felt very weird. We also completed within 24 hours the ascents of Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon, known as the 'Three Peaks Challenge'. Beware, Alistair is considering a 'final final' challenge soon.
